Hello there, I'm so glad you found my little corner of the online world. It's nice to meet you!

I'm an American author whose works span both fiction and non-fiction. I love fresh starts, heartfelt connections, the moody skies of Nebraska...and of course all the chocolate and coffee. 

I live in a quaint small town with my husband, kids, cat, and dog. I love camping and hiking, although I must admit nature doesn't seem to love me quite as much as I love it. But that's a story for another time. 

As for my writing, I try to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to add layers of hope and meaning to both my fiction and non-fiction books. My readers have told me my words hold intriguing, thought-provoking elements that have them thinking about my characters and stories long after they set them down.

FICTION

If you love clean books where you don't have to guard your heart to enjoy a captivating story, then we already have something in common. In fact, this preference is what inspired me to write my supernatural thriller series Faith and Shadows. 

It's a gripping two-book series that will plunge you into a world teetering on the edge of an ancient spiritual conflict. It begins with seemingly ordinary teenagers Eva, Alex, and Grace whose lives are suddenly upended by terrifying, recurring dreams. But these are no mere nightmares, they're more like a warning.

Guided by adults who experienced similar warnings decades ago, these teens won't give up until they have some answers. Hopefully it's not too late.

NON-FICTION

If you're in the mood for a non-fiction book, I've got you covered there too. Forty Days is a book about the first 40 days after my 2-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer back in 2012.

With this book, I share the lessons God taught me in the trenches of childhood cancer where anxiety and faith were in a constant wrestling match. It's an easy read and although it's an incredibly serious topic I manage to poke just enough fun at myself to keep it light so it won't drag you down. In fact, the entire point is to lift you up.
